The FAA has very quietly tacitly admitted that the EKGs of pilots are no longer normal. We should be concerned. Very concerned.

Serious question for any pilots: do they ask if you’re vaccinated during your checkups? Were you discriminated against if the answer was no?

You know it so when the elites don’t want vaxed pilots on the flight deck. What do they know that they don’t want you to know?

Maybe they’ll start saying “buh bye” to the passengers when they’re boarding the plane now?

Since many FReepers likely have a cardiologist among their doctor list, it would be good to ask about these EKG changes by the FAA.

ANY jabbed pilot is in violation of FAA Medical FARS, if the most recent jab was less than 12 months prior.

FDA (Food and Drug Administration) approved less than 12 months ago. The FAA requires at least one-year of post-marketing experience with a new drug before considering if for aeromedical certification purposes. New antibiotics, lipid-lowering drugs, and antihypertensive medications may be considered earlier than one year. Please contact the RFS or AMCD for guidance on specific applicants.

Would it be comforting to know your pilots are on blood thinners?

“””Serious question for any pilots: do they ask if you’re vaccinated during your checkups? Were you discriminated against if the answer was no?”””

IIRC Biden mandated all commercial airline pilots get the jab.

yeah, well, the chance of both pilots dying on the same flight are twice as low, so... good to go, right?

And the airlines are looking at having only one pilot in the cabin. What could go wrong?

Should change the requirements to only one, the pilot or co-pilot can be vaccinated and only half of stewards(esses) may be vaccinated and no mechanics or maintenance personnel may be vaccinated.

"The PR (a measure of heart function) used to be in the range of .12 to .2.

It is now: .12 to .3 and potentially even higher."

Normal duration of ECG segments:

PR interval: 0.12 – 0.2 secs (3-5 small squares)
QRS: <0.12 secs (3 small squares)
QTc: 0.38 – 0.42 secs

What Abnormal Results Mean
Abnormal ECG results may be a sign of:

Damage or changes to the heart muscle
Changes in the amount of the electrolytes (such as potassium and calcium) in the blood
Congenital heart defect
Enlargement of the heart
Fluid or swelling in the sac around the heart
Inflammation of the heart (myocarditis)
Past or current heart attack
Poor blood supply to the heart arteries
Abnormal heart rhythms (arrhythmias)

In the October 2022 version of the FAA Guide for Aviation Medical Examiners, the FAA quietly widened the EKG parameters beyond the normal range (from a PR max of .2 to unlimited). And they didn’t widen the range by a little. They widened it by a lot.

The PR (a measure of heart function) used to be in the range of .12 to .2.

It is now: .12 to .3 and potentially even higher.

Max .2 to unlimited to "a lot" to .3 "and potentially even higher".

No link to FAA or anything else.

Steve Kirsch is infamous for his opposition to the covid vaccines. He started two companies to research potential remedies. The board of one company made him resign because of his inaccurate statements on the vaccines. The second board, all 12, resigned because of his inaccurate statements.
