Given how this forum is I’m sure somebody people will speak ill of Mel Brooks but I like him to fight for his country has a relatively small man and I believe he did see combat and he is funny funny as hell actually and he had a good marriage with Anne Bancroft who I also liked from of course the graduate with her stockings Lord she seemed so old and she was only 37 I think and Brooks much fun of Jews as much as anyone ever has besides maybe Don Rickles which says something in today’s Hollywood… balls

We kind of thought his movies in the 70s were silly and they were funnier when you were stoned and of course he made a lot of drug references but over the test of time he is and has been very funny

That was a key comment -- it jumped right out because it reduced the "Megillah 101" commentaries down to their very essence. Seemingly disconnected, bizarre vignettes, yet... it all makes sense in the end, when it's Game Over for Haman & Sons.

It's a little "tell" that the Megillah is actually world history in a nutshell. Then that intel pops out by way of Mel Brooks' HOTW, lol. Part II to be released on Purim.
