I think they were more worried that “Latino” was becoming more popular than “Hispanic” and they didn’t want people getting confused or having to know what sex is the subject, or for the subject people to be offended that they didn’t get the right sex designation.
These commie libs really do tie themselves in knots worrying about whether words can hurt peoples’ widdle feewings.
They seem to worry a lot about the feelings of a very small minority, and do not give a rip about the feelings of the vast majority, hence their concern about being “sensitive” to other people’s wishes falls flat like the Hindenberg.
It could be several things. However, when dealing with the woke realize that faggotry and genderism or promoting faggotry and genderism is never far from their path. Latinx is gender neutral, a made up term in place of two gender specific versions from a language where everything has a gender.
That isn’t likely to be accidental or incidental.
