Bullshit. Go watch the video.
I hadn’t heard “Moses supposes” before. Wasn’t he the one who gave us the Ten Suggestions? (Formerly called the Ten Commandments.)
Private property as in one's home, you are absolutely correct. Public property whose function is to accommodate the public is another matter. Title II of the Civil Rights Act states: "42 U.S.C. §2000a (a)All persons shall be entitled to the full and equal enjoyment of the goods, services, facilities, privileges, advantages, and accommodations of any place of public accommodation, as defined in this section, without discrimination on the ground of race, color, religion, or national origin."
I believe in the case of a shopping mall or similar setting, the owner would need to show that he is denying service because the person is disruptive, drunk, disorderly etc. Saying that someone wearing a Jesus shirt is a threat - would be a stretch in any courtroom - IMHO.
I might try that were it not for the possibility that the state (just about the most Maoist state in the country) might find a way to prosecute me...or that The Big Guy’s Department of Just Us might find way to do so.
What law did they violate?
In a just world, we would see the mall sporting a sign that says, “Soon to be under new ownership”. This is simply awful. Unless the mall currently has a rule that says “No T-shirts with any type of messaging is allowed”, and they enforce that rule, then they are totally screwed!
Attorneys should be lining up to represent this guy!
** a mobile sandwich board, of rejection for certain groups of people. This is how they think.**
That’s basically what I told my wife. Because the backside condemning the beliefs of the ‘coexist’ crowd is doing so without witness to the reasons those beliefs are in error. That takes preaching and teaching.
If one wants to be preachy with clothing, then I suggest my tagline.
Make sure to be on the lookout for “mostly peaceful” democrat protesters.
“Jesus saves” is fine for a quick billboard type of broadcast.
But condemning the (erroneous) beliefs of those groups without the witness of the scriptures would be like Jesus shortening the Bible to Galatians 5:19-21
Details take time. Hence the need for preaching.
I’m not a fan of “message” t-shirts in part for the reason you state.
Still, kicking him out of over it is assymetrical with how other shirt-wearers are treated.
Guns n Moses
I think I see the real problem.
The back of his shirt?
He has the dreaded old virtue-signaling “COEXIST” crossed out, emphasized with “ONLY WAY”.
I was going to say.
I have yet to see obscenity laws enforced for disgusting people who have F-word and other foul hipostile talk screaming from their shirts.
Never mind the macho guys who dangle disgusting mock body parts from their truck trailer hitches.
More like the ladies in the Shirelles.
Calling him out for his Christian message when no prohibition regarding Religious messages is broadly enforced on the property.
prophet like and a good man but not the Son of God
Christians are infidels
Yes, prophet and teacher. Not Son of God.
Notice the MSM per the AP ‘style guide’ says every story “The Prophet Mohammed”?
But they don’t say “Our Lord and Savior the Son of God Jesus Christ”?
That means someone heard the message.
Good job!
