California Gov. Gavin Newsom announced during a press conference on Sunday that he is requesting a state of emergency from the White House as another round of storms targets the Golden State this week.

Severe storms in California knocked out power to over 560,000 homes on Sunday. Along with power outages, the state has faced several days of severe weather events and two more are scheduled to occur this week. The first storm is expected to begin Monday and go into the early morning hours on Tuesday, and the second storm will occur from Jan. 12-14. "We’ve been at this how many days and expect to see the worst of it still in front of us," Newsom said. "We’re anticipating some very intense weather coming in tomorrow, tomorrow evening in particular, into the early hours of Tuesday morning."

The governor and his team referred to these storms as atmospheric rivers, or storms that dump massive amounts of rain, causing flooding, mudslides, property damage and the loss of life.

If we don’t get rain you need to give us money.

If we get rain you need to give us money.

It can happen. Beware.

We need the rain because we need the snowpack in the Sierras, Wasatch and Rockies because California is sucking the west dry with their swimming pools and golf courses. San Francisco can wash out to sea and take Governor Hair Gel with it for all I care… although his sinking will cause a major oil slick.

California has always been subject to extreme shifts in weather. Long droughts to sudden flooding. Before the levee systems were built and the tributaries to the Sacramento river dammed, the North valley where I live became a lake between the Sierras and the Sutter Buttes, nearly every late winter/early spring.

He spent that surplus and another $25 billion. At least we got our “inflation relief checks.”

This is a totally normal part of long-term California weather cycles. Years of drought and below-average rain, followed by 1-2 winters of well above average rain.

Its why wild-fires are such a problem - brush growth is encouraged by wet cycles, followed by years of extreme dryness which provides kindling.

We need more reservoirs... we voted over $1 billion a few years back and nothing has been done to get started on the Sites reservoir. Concerns over salmon migration have held it up in court.

I really don't think the submissive wing of the globalist Uniparty even wants a president from their wing, it causes problems for them ( like Trump did ).

they new McGovernment would love to have Newsome up there as head racketeer
