Yet I don’t think any one can provide an example of McCarthy or any other Republican SOH not giving into the Democrats, in the last few years. And Gingrich doesn’t count given how long so that was.
So many of you have entirely too much faith in DC Republicans.

“On the second anniversary of the January 6th insurrection, Kevin McCarthy clinched his decade-long quest to be speaker of the House,” Stephanopoulos said. “It came with concessions to the most extreme members of his caucus, the help of the former president he denounced on the House floor two years ago, and the prospect of two more years of brinksmanship over his hold on the office, the fiscal security of the United States and the basics functions of governing.” Interesting that on Jan 8th, the 25th anniversary of Monica Lewinsky signing an affidavit denying her affair with his old boss Bill Clinton, Stephanopoulos chooses to lie about Republicans.
