Looks like Bakhmut/Soledar is getting very hot. Increasing optempo. The ground is now frozen for mobility, Christmas is past, and Russian mobniks are being thrown into the breach. This could be the start of Russia’s Winter offensive, which was expected here and/or around Donetsk City a bit to the South.

Russian forces have recently brought large amounts of mobilised units who are being thrown into battle around Bakhmut.

These units are completely combat ineffective and inexperienced and continue to attack fortified positions in waves.

I look forward to your next update.

Hopefully, HIMARs are positioned to suppress any RU artillery.

If RU artillery cannot destroy the UKR fortified positions, there will a lot of dead mobiks.

‘Quickly Flopping’ is misleading. A war would take its toll.

“Taiwan-Invasion War Game by US Think Tank Sees China Quickly Flopping”

“A hypothetical Chinese invasion of Taiwan “quickly founders” but exacts high costs on the island democracy and the US Navy, according to the results of an extensive set of war games released Monday by a Washington think tank.

Despite “massive Chinese bombardment, Taiwanese ground forces stream to the beachhead, where the invaders struggle to build up supplies and move inland” as “US submarines, bombers, and fighter aircraft, often reinforced by Japan Self-Defense Forces, rapidly cripple the Chinese amphibious fleet,” in the “most likely” scenario, the Center for Strategic and International Studies concluded.”
