The USCP said officers instructed the group to stay on the sidewalk instead of blocking the road, and Witthoeft "was given multiple warnings," the release said. To my knowledge, none of the negotiations between McCarthy and the insurgents involved opening hearings on what really happened on January 6th. More than Hunter Biden's laptop or the Russian collusion hoax, a real investigation of the events of that date would reveal the actual events and the collusion involving the Federal police agencies, the Congressional leadership, Big Tech, and Antifa to stage the American version of the Reichstag Fire. Immunity from prosecution breeds contempt for due process.
Until we remove immunity from prosecution for prosecutors judges and police, we will always have an incentive for these people to cheat.
If immunity is absolutely needed to prevent retaliatory litigation by defendant, we need a countervailing mechanism that makes it easier to strip law enforcement and prosecutors of their positions and compensate victims.
Full disclosure of the prosecutorial process is an absolute necessity in stemming abuses.
If these people demand secrecy from American citizens for “sources and methods”, they are declaring themselves as enemies of the people.
