The 21st District of Texas representative is a fighter. He is the sort of leader we need as Speaker at this time. No member of Congress opposed the recent omnibus bill with as much vigor as he did. Every time I see him in action he is on our (MAGA) side. He has only been in Congress since 2019 so has not been coopted by the interests of the deep state. Let's have a Speaker we can be proud of. Call your representative and tell them you'd like to see Chip Roy elected Speaker!
agree. we don’t need a spineless RINO now that “reaches across the aisle” to help destroy the USA.
I’ve been for Chip Roy for Speaker for a few weeks now.
He can kick ass and take names, and I think he would.
Tom Fitton would be good, too.
Chip Roy is that man. A real fighter.
We need to learn from the past. We need only go back to Paul Ryan to see what a RINO anti-MAGA leader will do, and as importantly, not do.
I’m re-thinking Chip Roy. He voted to confirm Biden’s stolen election, IIRC.
If they are stalemated on this vote they might need to come up with a compromise candidate. I thought it would be good to put this man’s name out there... who knows... ‘stranger things’ and all...
I’ll take Roy. Then again, once upon a time Dan Crenshaw had those balls and somewhere along the line he gave them to the Deep State.

One vote is what he did get... at least according to Dan Bongino.. I’m away from the TV right now... No one is going to get many votes until/unless McCarthy withdraws his name...
Problem is that the establishment may start getting pissed off if they put a conservative up for vote. This could get very very messy. Would it be shocking if Jefferies ends up speaker?
They would have to do that on a plurality vote. Doubt any GOP will defect for Jeffries...
I hope not. I could see a few McCarthy voters doing this if they get pissed off enough. A point that’s not even part of the discussion is election fundraising. Can Biggs for example, raise millions of dollars every election? And can he heard the cats for votes? There’s a hell of a lot more to be in speaker than just the name.
