And I have yet to hear of any blacks who bother with this hateful garbage.

Ya think? I called out some folks at one of the online t-shirt outfits a couple years ago and explained the lie. They actually took it off their celebratory list thereby keeping me as a customer. Evil racis’ that I must be.
I recall in years past, someone put up a picture of a white woman lighting the Kwanzaa candles, and the caption read, that Kwanzaa was celebrated by white women school teachers.
I’ve heard that only a small minority of black people observe Kwanzaa. Perhaps true, that white liberals, to virtue signal, make a bigger deal out of Kwanzaa that black folks do.

The only people who talk about kwanzaa anymore are the annual whines about it’s origin. Really, if you guys stop talking about it it will just go away.
It has become a virtue-signaling festival for people of non-color. People of color tend to celebrate one or both of two other holidays, MLK Day and/or Juneteenth.
FWIW, the seven principles would actually make for a decent society, if they weren’t defined by Dr. Karenga in such racist terms—but then he has always been part of the violent racist left, from his days with US (the competition of the Black Panthers) until his “conversion” to the worship of Ma’at, the supposedly black Egyptian goddess.

Worked with lots of black people, have very good black friends......not ever a mention of Kwanzaa.

Ok, here we go, white school teachers virtue signaling.
Just a thought, that these teachers will teach their students all about Kwanzaa. But those same teachers are probably forbidden to talk about religious aspects of Christmas. In some schools they aren’t even allowed to utter the word “Christmas”.
Ah ... the traditional Kwanza gift book....
