I have the privilege of knowing Lowell Graham, COL, USAF (ret). He was the Director of the Air Force Band in Washington for many years.

He is an alumnus of my university, and would come back a couple times a year to do clinics and guest conduct.

Been under his baton many times. Really cool guy. He inspired several of my classmates to join the Air Force Band.

Unfortunately, I am musically challenged. However, I have a nephew who made it on the Voice. He turned one chair - Blake Shelton's.
