Wait ‘till they extend this to food and retail items. Every consumer product offered for sale in the EU will have a net carbon score attached. (Calculating this will provide lifetime employment for another army of bureaucrats, which the EU will regard as a plus.) The carbon score will be added at the cash register when the sale is rung up. Choose the beef and get hit with a walloping tax. Choose the powdered insects and tofu, and your tax will be minimal.
But don’t dare complain too loudly, because complaints will be logged by the smart device that you will be required to carry and will be entered into your social credit score.

I’ve been saying all along, the only thing that will discourage these climate lunatics is if everyone in the affected country burns a couple of tires on a given day in protest.

And then, of course, unlike all the pussified Europeans, the badass, brave Americans are often holding massive, edgy street demonstrations to oppose tyrannical Federal "law enforcement" agencies, a self-serving, tyrannical political class and the maggot-infested media that when not gaslighting and blatantly lying to the American people is helping target, censor, and destroy anyone who oppose its leftist/globalist masters' crazy and demonic social and economic policies.
Yeah, all the brave Americans are really showing those ball-less Europeans how to stand up and fight against tyranny!!
