It turns out that not only did the Ministry of Truth brigade at the FBI push Twitter to censor the Hunter Biden laptop scandal, but it also reportedly paid the Big Tech platform millions of dollars.

Independent journalist Michael Shellenberger, who reported on the latest batch of Twitter files Dec. 19, noted that “The FBI’s influence campaign may have been helped by the fact that it was paying Twitter millions of dollars for its staff time.” An associate of former Twitter Deputy General Counsel James Baker told him and Twitter General Counsel Sean Edgett in a February 2021 email: “I am happy to report we have collected $3,415,323 since October 2019!” Baker was a prominent FBI figure that historically helped perpetuate the Russia-Trump collusion hoax.

Twitter owner Elon Musk didn't mince words about the implications of the funding: "Government paid Twitter millions of dollars to censor info from the public."

The media ignores, the public remains ignorant, and this corruption continues.

Tell a liberal about this, and they just get annoyed with you and ask if you heard it on “FOX NEWS!”.

Take control of the public education system, and the country is yours.

I guess that was a bargain for the gov. Let’s use taxpayer’s money to pay social media to help elect our brain dead idiot!

Somewhere in the back of my mind, I’m thinking this has to illegal as well as unethical.

odgetwins:
Lemme get this straight

#1: The feds partnered with and paid big tech to silence free speech and rig the 2020 election for their corrupt guy

#2: The people who protested the rigged election are still being investigated and having their homes raided by the feds that rigged it

#3: Now the feds corrupt politician friends are trying to criminally charge the guy who had the election stolen from him so he can’t run for office again

This is straight up treason at the highest level. This is the real insurrection

The payments weren't "here's $3.4 million, please censor these Tweets," the payments were "reimbursement" for Twitter's legal costs associated with reviewing each FBI request.

So if the FBI paid Twitter $3.4 million, its because Twitter billed the FBI for $3.4 million in legal fee compensation.

If Twitter didn't have $3.4 million in costs, then Twitter committed fraud against the U.S. Government to obtain money under false pretenses.

Thank you for referencing that article JV3MRC.

A previous figure showed $3.4 million.

FBI Paid Twitter $3.4 Million in US Tax Dollars for Administration Costs Related to the Staff’s Time Spent Working with the FBI (12.19.22)

The allegation that taxpayer dollars were possibly involved with alleged FBI / Twitter 1st Amendment-ignoring censoring also throws the criminal “hot potato” at the constitutional "power of the purse," desperate Democratic and RINO-controlled House of Representatives imo.

FBI: Check out these Tweets, they appear to violate your policies.

Twitter: Sure why not.

Twitter to FBI: Hi, so we took these actions against these accounts you mentioned. Oh btw, here’s our bill for our legal costs.

FBI: sure, here’s a few million.

Lesson: Read between the lines. #headdesk

OK so who then arrests the FBI? We little people in America have a Constitution to govern us! What guidance does the FBI have?

Tax financed contributions to the Biden campaign? Someone needs to go to prison for this.
