Kennedy was supposed to have a limo with a roof over it that day.
At the last minute it was switched to the convertible.
Only 2 people could have ordered that.
One was the president. He did not.
The other was Jackie. She did.
Hell hath no fury like that of a woman scorned.
This is why the records are not being released.
Interesting, had not heard that theory.
If true, Jackie might have had other choices for a location besides being inches from a hit job she ordered.
The only thing I can see wrong with that theory is that she was sitting right next to JFK, she could easily have been hit by an errant shot.

Back in the ‘70s, I took a law class as an elective in college, a Chicago area university. We took a tour of the Federal building downtown, which included either the FBI or the Secret Service, I can’t remember which now.
The head agent of said agency said that JFK, fooled around behind Jackie’s back. How did he know this? He was the President’s limo driver, and drove him to clandestine meetings with women.

That was the first I had ever heard of JFK’s extramarital affairs.
