I’ve always believed the fatal shot came from the Grassy Knoll, if you look at the Zapruder film and watch when Kennedy’s head gets blown off, he recoils back and too his left.
I don’t see how a shot from where Oswald was supposedly setup could have caused that reaction, a shot from the Grassy Knoll could have caused that reaction.
“Back and to the left.” Shall I believe that there was NO shot from the front, Grassy Knoll, or as some think, from the storm drain to the right of the motorcade? Or shall I believe my lying eyes. Perfect military style “triangularization.” More than one shooter and that supposed one shooter was “Maggies’ Drawers.”
Very simple physics, he was already leaning forward from the back/throat shot, and the head shot has to be viewed as an ‘energy dump’ into the top portion of head, which is a large mass on top of a very springy, flexible structure, the neck. Upon being hit, there’s a very quick and short ‘ducking’ motion before the release of the bullet energy in the spray, and the potential energy store in neck tension causes head, neck and upper body to recoil backwards. After that release of energy, you then see the natural slumping of the body.
Kennedy was hit twice from behind, from an elevated position. Where people come up with these wacky grassy knoll and street drain ideas, for gosh sakes, is beyond comprehension.
Let’s just say I’m 90% sure it was from the grassy knoll. I can’t think of a reason for the source to lie. But it’s all water under the bridge now anyways.

Where was Aaron Zapruder? Standing on a concrete wing extending out from the steps right next to the grassy knoll. A gun shooting over the fence would have been at his feet level of shot over the fence, and have been about 15 feet to the right. Zapruder was a former army person and he would have seen that person, looking down from above. And he would have heard that shot. The clincher is??? The Zapruder film ends with a look behind the fence and it shows? Nothing there. I say that is not a place where a shot came from. And the people right in front of the fence, within 10 to 15 feet, would have reported that shot if from right behind. They did not.
