In a documentary about SCTV, Eugene Levy stated that he based his Bobby Bittman character in large part upon Jerry Lewis. My favorite Bobby Bittman skit was when he sang a song in solidarity for the people of the recently invaded Falkland Islands but sang it as a completely inappropriate calypso song as if the Falklands were somewhere in the Caribbean. (He also mispronounced "Falklands" as "Facklands").

Trudeau begins his speech after they leave, stating how this is an example of how Canada has free speech and that not everyone agrees with everyone else, but they all respect each other and work together.

Outside the Indians are arrested.
