Transgenderism is one of those things that appear be more about the believer’s vanity than anything else. It lets them display how ‘flexible’ their mind is and show how they are not bound by silly ‘constructs.’ There may also be an element of 1984 as well as creating a touchstone to show ‘in’ membership.

It is even self contradictory. If a ‘trans man’ is truly a man and a ‘trans woman’ is truly a woman then there shouldn’t be a ‘trans’ except for the brief instance of choosing an alternate gender declaration.

It’s great. One of John Cazale’s three movies. If you like “Enemy of the State,” Hackman’s character in “ The Conversation” will be eye-opening.
