All those things fail to mention that the troops doing the fighting are Wagner Mercenaries using Russian convicts in human waves.
Some Russian trolls believe that flying close air support sorties would indicate that Russia has Air Superiority.
What it really means is that Russia doesn't have enough artillery in place to support the assault. Or that Russia consider HIMARs counter battery is more of a threat than MANPADs.
A couple of days ago, Speedy linked a video of a MANPAD operator that contained some interesting information...particularly how difficult it is to shoot down fighter aircraft with a MANPAD.
Not very impressive.
