The protests because everyone in the EU knows the facts, the old EU saying:
“ When shaking hands with a Ukrainian, be sure to check how many fingers he stole”,…the west ( and western MSM) simply has no knowledge about the Ukies, only what our fake MSM reports.

When China, Russia, and others were relatively quiet in comparison to now, the established order was busy beating down defiant people in the U.S., Europe, Australia, NZ, etc.
Now that China and Russia are a much bigger thorn to them, and mere profit from slave wages via Chinese products is no longer enough to keep them satiated, they celebrate protests in China but excoriated Europeans who did the same.
They loved a paltry hand vote for independence for Kosovo but hate referendums for independence in Ukraine.
And look at what is happening with BRICS (a sham election in Brazil ousting Nationalist Bolsonaro, protests in Russua, pressure put on India by the west, and protests in China).
