Attack On Europe: Documenting Russian Equipment Losses During The 2022 Russian Invasion Of Ukraine

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it is not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

Nice post so what’s your point? the Ukrainians have plenty of grads of their own and many more along with ammunition donated by the Russians. What the Russians don’t have are himars and Excalibur munitions. 24 grad rockets have less of a chance of being effective on a target as one well placed himar or smart artillery shell.

And you are proud of this, Russian military could not win soldier on soldier tank on tank so target civilian infrastructure, civilians…..cause as much terror as possible
Yup might work, but speaks volumes as to Russia resorting to these tactics

Go team/sigh

My point has always been, Ukraine fails at the use of massed artillery; hence, why they are steadily being decimated by them whereas the Ukrainians use their 1-2 artillery.

Strange that in all the war porn videos I watch, the Ukies are steadily having their M777s or French CAESAR artillery, etc. destroyed in only groups of 1-2......

I wouldn’t call it a failure as the Ukrainians never had mass artillery like the Russians. Btw there is plenty of video of Ukrainians launching multiple vehicle grad attacks. The failure of any is that the Russians have launched hundreds if not thousands of missiles and rockets and most likely millions of artillery rounds and what do they have to show for it. One shot one kill as opposed to thousands of rounds and perhaps something to show for it.
I will not argue that Russia has numerical superiority but those numbers have been severely degraded and what do they have to show for it. They can take out civilian targets and infrastructure and “strategically” redeploy and have to mobilize a million new soldiers. I thought that Russia had barely used a pinky finger worth of their military

We can both play this game not sure your point both sides loose in war but if you are saying Russia is not loosing both towed and mechanized art, . Well I am sure you will call it fake news or propaganda but Ukraine twitter has plenty of examples of Russian equipment and personal getting lost. The question remains a country with everything on its side at least on paper massive amounts of equipment many more service members and here we are 9 months later and for the most part loss of gained territory, men and equipment is what the second biggest military in the world has to show for it. I imagine I
Am a minority but I want Ukraine to be given longer range rockets and arty and bring the pain of war to a personal level for Russians not just conscripts

Again my personal opinion but I don’t see Russia prepared to outfit and maintain their troops in the winter and I think that will be a deciding factor

An additional point massed “dumb” arty is ww2 tactics, not saying it can’t be effective but one shot one kill does not require massed arty to be effective.

Will be interesting to see in a month or two how both sides have faired
As the saying goes Logistics logistics logistics

Russia has been feeding Ukrainian into the meat grinder since November. The deaths are triple digits everyday.

Russia has done but GAIN ground since November. The Wagner group is very close to clearing out Ukraine's strongest line of defense in Donetsk in Bahkmat where most of the rest of Ukraine's best soldiers are.

You are one dumbest people I've ever encountered. And, when this is all over and Russia retains every area in annexed (and possibly more territory), I'm going to do the equivalent of rub your nose in a pair of Biden's adult diapers.

Let someone infinitely smarter than you explain the situation:

https://sonar21.com/whats-next-by-helmholtz-smith/

For those outside the NATO propaganda bubble there is general agreement that

1. Russia is winning both in the Ukraine battlefield and the wider theater.

2. Time is on Russia’s side.

First the Ukraine battlefield. The first aim in war is to destroy the enemy’s power and that Russia is doing, especially in the Bakhmut slaughterhouse. Kiev is determined to stand and fight here and the Russians are quite happy to let them do so – “artillery conquers and infantry occupies” – and that is what we see here. Slowly slowly the Russian forces advance over mountains of Ukrainian bodies. In the last week or so Russian forces have begun to advance on other fronts too. This grinding away can continue until Ukraine collapses because it is easier for the Russians to let the enemy come to them than go after them. Meanwhile Russian missiles destroy the infrastructure Kiev needs to continue the war. Time and developments favor Russia and there is no incentive to make “big arrow” movements.

On the bigger war the sanctions that were supposed to have crushed Russia have boomeranged and we have headlines like “Inflation in Europe is falling but food prices are rising” and hypothermia deaths in England. Inflation is falling because demand is falling and demand is falling because businesses are stopping because of the price of fuel. Germany’s PMI is declining. No one (except the bubble dwellers in NATO) should be surprised – you sanctioned the biggest energy exporter, biggest grain exporter and a big exporter of potash, did you expect prices to go down? Everything needs energy and everybody needs food. NATO unity wobbles with Turkey, Sweden and Finland. Hungary officially notices the sufferings of Hungarians in Ukraine. Partitioning Ukraine was contemplated. Macron suspects the US is intentionally weakening its European allies. Did Washington just sucker Berlin into going first – when exactly will the Abrams get there? NATO is now breaking into its active stocks (Estonia joins Denmark in sending all its artillery). (And, not that anybody is asking, who blew up Nord Stream?) Riots and protests all over Europe. What’s happening in Kiev? The longer this goes on the weaker Russia’s enemies become. So in the big war, time and developments favor Russia and there is no incentive to make “big arrow” movements.

Therefore Russia should keep doing what it’s doing and hold the big force in reserve – no reason to change anything – it’s attritting its enemies.

“You are one dumbest people I’ve ever encountered.”

Says the person who posts an article from NOVEMBER that the great Russian offensive is about to begin.

Says the person that Kherson would NEVER fall.

Says the person who has posted numerous predictions that have not happened and has never done any self-reflection on why they have been consistently wrong, but instead double downs on the stupid.
