I agree with Dallas Jenkins point (link above) that on an individual level - the only doctrine that matters for real salvation from the penalty of our SIN is whether or not you as an individual HAVE a personal relationship with Jesus Christ by FAITH alone IN CHRIST alone.
So many people get caught up in faith traditions or worse local church denominations or doctrine concerning sanctification or obedience to God's Will as communicated individually to a believer FOLLOWING their salvation experience again by Faith ALONE in CHRIST ALONE. Agreed?
I believe God had a PERSONAL WILL for each of us individually and knowing and understanding that BEGINS with full and complete surrender to HIM period.
It is very presumptuous to believe that if you prayed the sinners prayer one time in your life and that you were sincere about it. That you are IN God's Will for the rest of your life (sanctification complete)
Truthfully it is my understanding that following salvation experience the Holy Spirit Indwells us and seeks to communicate with us if we ALLOW Him to lead and direct our life.
How many missed opportunities we have when we are not obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit?????
That being said…….
I believe God is using Dallas and his team to create an evangelical witnessing tool.
A TV show portraying Jesus and His disciples in a way that is real and relatable.
I remember when LinkedIn was employment/professional board, before Microsoft bought it and turned it into a data hoovering monetizing agent.
I am unemployed and looking for work, but I am not going on LinkedIn again. The pure job boards (e.g. Career Builder, Linked In, Dice, Zip Recruiter, etc.) are bad enough.
Understood. I use the platform to maintain professional relationships, and on occasion like Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years a post that borders on personal and professional are appropriate. Especially when a large part of your professional life IS ministry focused Hospitality.

The FREE GIFT of GOD
IS
Eternal Life… THROUGH Jesus Christ OUR Lord..
Not by works…. And “Praying the sinners prayer as if YOUR prayer effort is what got you saved…
Praying “the prayer” is a work and if THAT is what you are counting on you missed the FREE GIFT by FAITH alone in CHRIST Alone? Agreed?
I agree with the Scriptures.
Dallas Jenkins and his Mormon coworkers are a different story.
I don’t need to watch or endorse The Chosen.
Jesus is the Creator of the whole universe.
He was born of a virgin, without a human father.
He was the Son of God before time began.
He paid for our sin on Calvary on the cross, not in the garden at Gethsemane.
If you are a Biblical Christian, wonderful, but be careful who your companions are.
