Desantis’ Top Donor Admits Accessing Chinese Markets Is Top Focus

Ken Griffin, who is pushing for a Desantis presidential bid, has a history of fundraising for Biden and Obama.

Florida Governor Ron Desantis’ top donor has made some controversial comments concerning his relationship with China.

Ken Griffin, the billionaire CEO of Citadel, who funded $5 million towards Ron Desantis’ gubernatorial campaign and is vying for a Desantis 2024 presidential run, admitted his hedge fund is prioritizing China as its “center of focus.”

Griffin, who has countersignaled a Trump 2024 run, wants to “increase the size of our commitment” in China and supported CCP leader Xi Jinping for his economic leadership, saying it helped “re-accelerated China’s growth.”

Griffin described Trump as a “three-time loser” and hopes the 45th president of the United States will “see the writing on the wall” and give up his 2024 bid.

“I’d like to think that the Republican party is ready to move on from somebody who has been for this party a three-time loser,” Griffin stated, citing Trump’s 2020 loss and blaming Trump for the GOP leadership losing two Georgia Senate seats.

Despite the lack of a “red wave” in the Midterms, Griffin described the midterm results as “a great moment — American voters came out in droves. This was a triumph of democracy.”

“I’m quite happy about the midterms,” the billionaire added.

If Desantis proves he cannot be bought by China friendly or woke-friendly big donors, he and Trump will be see more in agreement than disagreement and that could be a good thing for both - good thing for Trump supporters to not lable Desantis an “anti-Trump” candidate and good thing for DeSantis supporters to see tbe same thing.

Uhhhhh..not good.

I don't understand why Desantis, who has been a great Governor for Florida, and has a very bright future, would want to wreck himself by running against Trump, (If it is even true that he wants to run against Trump?).

This would splinter the Republican party, and possibly destroy the country forever.

Anyone who would do that, is not a Patriot, IMO, and/or has zero awareness of what's really been going on in here.

They could also be compromised, or it could simply be a case of ego.

In any scenario, this would not be putting the best interest of the country first.

Trump has taken all the slings and arrows of the enemies of our nation, foreign and domestic, WHEN HE DIDN'T HAVE TO.

He has earned his place as our nominee for 2024.

On a different point, it's funny how we hear people/Rats/RINOs complain that "Trump is out of control".

That is precisely why he was the best President of our lifetime , (up there with the greatest ones of all time).

He focused on doing things that benefited the entire country, and it thrived, EVEN DURING THE PANDEMIC, (and unlike the 💩 state is in now).

Why would anyone want a leader who is "under control"?

Under control by who?

Under control by what?

I like Desantis. He has been an awesome Governor, I really hope these rumors of him running against Trump are just that, rumors.
