Rick Scott NEVER backed ending Social Security.
He backed a plan to LOOK AT ALL PROGRAMS EVERY FEW YEARS TO SEE IF THEY WERE WORKING... OR A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY.
Social Security is a ‘program’ so technically it would be looked at for a few seconds. But the goal of what Scott wanted to do is solid. It was designed to end millions of liberal ‘elite’ programs that do NOTHING and cost a lot of money.
If the guy is not politically savvy enough to know his proposal would be turned into campaign commercials by the Democrats, then he has no place in a leadership role.
