Yikes! *corrections*
Okay, you thought it was appropriate to ignore the question. I think the opposite.
The rules don’t stop DeSantis from speaking on that issue at any point during the debate, before the debate or following the debate.
It’s certainly DeSantis’ right to say anything or not say anything on the matter.
And it certainly is Trump’s right to respond to some of the worst RINO’s pushing DeSantis while DeSantis stays quiet.
“And it certainly is Trump’s right to respond to some of the worst RINO’s pushing DeSantis while DeSantis stays quiet.”
But he threatened DeSantis. The most effectove and popular governor in the US. Wrong move.
If Trump has a problem with RINO's, who may be "pushing DeSantis" as you say, shouldn't he come out and say that's what his problem is? Where is it proven that DeSantis is even running for President, much less seeking RINO support?
The only thing I'm aware of is Richard Baris made a tweet that claimed McCarthy, McConnell, and Ryan were considering supporting either DeSantis, Youngkin, or Tim Scott in a hypothetical race against Trump for President. This tweet was given as an explanation/excuse for Trump attacking DeSantis during his run for Governor. Baris later admitted on Twitter that DeSantis never met with anyone, when pressed.
So if DeSantis never met with them, why does he deserve the attacks from Trump?
Shouldn't Trump be focusing his anger on these RINO's, instead, at least until DeSantis has even met with them?
What if he never does meet with them?
