I know few people who enjoy taking mandatory training and like that has zero relevancy to current position or hoped for future. It has been well documented these types of seminars are mine fields. Just one bad step, and you have no future. It makes 100% sense for a student to minimal engage just hoping to get out unecathed.

My most annoying experience was when I enrolled as a Freshman the university automatically enrolled me in some seminar. It was some seminar about Leftist activist movies, for example, celebrating that pedophile Harvey Milk as a hero. It ended up that course was not mandatory. I wasted countless hours for nothing. A coed did flirt with me, my only chance in turned out in 4 years, but I blew that.

So true. If I recall correctly, I had to take a mandatory seminar in how to use the library when I was a freshman. I already knew my way around the library and it was nearly a total waste of time. I did learn that Library Science was a shame major and that librarians are nearly all over-credentialed leftists that are full of themselves. That was over 40 years ago. I’d be blowing a gasket if I had to take a mandatory diversity course.

This reminds me of Hubby’s work where they have a film about Sexual Harrasssment every year. It is the same film! Every year! Hubby has been at that job for 20 plus years and has seen this film multiple times and could probably recite the entire film.

NO university or college should have mandatory “diversity” courses!!!! And NO university or college should make “diversity” a criterion in admissions!!!!
