I know a guy that sold memorabilia and gave the money to the poor in his Midwestern city.
Dad gave some of his memorabilia to his 2nd Armored Cav’s museum, now at Ft. Hood. They were most excited about his paper maps of Germany with military positions, they said those are very rare now. He also gave them his tank helmet and utility belt. Various family members got the guns including a Luger, I got the dagger.
