Vanity-Hard Data From Last Night

Governor/Senator Pairing Results

New Hampshire Sununu – 250,267 Bolduc - 196,600

Pennsylvania Mastriano – 2,207,541 Oz – 2,451,028

Georgia Kemp – 2,102,341 Walker – 1,900,186

Florida DeSantis – 4,604,337 Rubio – 4,465,369

Arizona Lake – 855,212 Masters – 802,933

New Mexico Ronchetti – 320,435 Laxalt – 418,461

Ohio DeWine – 2,434,524 Vance – 2,074,340

Wisconsin Michels – 1,243,914 Johnson – 1,311,336

There's no getting around these numbers. If it's all about fraud, then why didn't the votes have similar results?

Look at New Hampshire, that's a MASSIVE percentage difference between the two.

Ohio is officially Red, as is Florida.

McConnell needs to go, he oversaw this debacle of possibly not winning the Senate

McCarthy is on the hot seat, he oversaw the Red Trickle

Trump needs to stop making this about him, it's the Make America Great Again Movement, not the Donald J Trump Movement.

If you can't handle that, all you Nina Burleigh wannabe's, just remember why you voted for him in 2016 and 2020. In 2016, he would be the skunk at the party, and we had to keep Hillary Clinton from gaining control. In 2020, it was about the RESULTS he got, not his personality, which many of us who voted FOR THE ISSUES HE RAISED and overcame.

NOT the Man. Let that sink in. People like me vote for ISSUES at the federal level, not the man. We KNOW where he screwed up while President. His cabinet SUCKED. He didn't reward loyalty in his hires. He BRAGGED about speeding through the vaccines. Went along with the lockdowns. KEPT FAUCI and WRAY IN PLACE.

Stop genuflecting about him.

2024 is NOT HIS BIRTHRIGHT, he has to earn the votes and if he can't make this about MAGA instead of himself, we need a new leader to take that mantle.

Look at those numbers above and try to make the case he HELPED us win the Senate. And believe me, I think McConnell is HORRENDOUS for the Republican brand right now. Younger voters who are Republicans don't like him either.

Wake up and stop with the conspiracies and realize we are getting killed ON THE RULES of the elections and ON THE GROUND with younger voters and urban areas, where today's technology makes it easier to run up votes in those two groups. Heck, we didn't even have to worry about a Zuckerburg laying out $500 million for buying votes with gift cards this time around.

Here's the Exit Polls on AGE:

In Which Age Group Are You?

(18,474 Respondents)

Voted (D) Voted (R) 18-29 12% of respondents 63% 35% 30-44 21% of respondents 51% 47% 45-64 39% of respondents 44% 54% 65 or over 28% of respondents 43% 55%

We need to get real.

I’m confused. You implied we had no mission yesterday, then you go on the detail what it was.

You say its not about one man, then you go on and imply yesterday’s results WERE the fault of one man.

Election reform is absolutely necessary. THAT is the takeaway from Florida.

You seem to be unable to distinguish between “Anti-Trumper” and “Post-Trumper”. I’m a Post-Trumper. I voted for him twice. Loved what he did as President. But he is now unelectable at the national level and his carnival barker routine has gotten old.

Could be a couple things...

Local (governor) vs National (senate)
Candidate Quality

Misunderstood me. MAGA is supposed to be a set of principles, like I outlined, but the GOP leaders did not ‘codify’ anything for candidates to run on.

“Add, Ronna McDaniels, McConnell’s niece...”

Romney’s niece

McCarthy’s “Commitment to America” was pretty thin gruel.

Exactly right. They’d rather stick to “he plays 3 and 4-D chess while the rest of us play checkers”.

At this point, he’s a one-trick pony playing Solitaire while the Dems play Bridge.

Hence my point about ELECTION RULES, which he STILL doesn’t address in detail, while my state of Florida has it figured out. And since he LIVES HERE, that’s inexcusable.

Walker getting over the line in run off presupposes that ALL those who voted red shows up again… don’t count on it with this depressing outcome last nite.

Without defined deliverables

The “Contract With America” was easy to understand and easy to implement.

And had deliverables you could monitor for implementation.

My point is that that actual turnout is the important point of comparison. What was the total number of votes each year? Was it that they had the same turnout and voters switched sides? Or was it that they had a lower turnout on the democratic side? Doesn’t prove anything, but an interesting data point.

PA is lost. GA not so much as long as Trump isn’t the nominee. The results tell me it’s time to pivot to a new MAGA candidate. It’s about the country not one man. I am NOT on the DeSantis bandwagon. Exit polls showed Trump as unpopular as Biden and Dems ran against Trump. Is it fair? No but we need to Save America.

Walker was not the best candidate and it’s probably the strength of Kemp that gets him to runoff. Walker underperformed every single Republican running state wide the last I looked.

Republicans likely won’t show up again in another Senate runoff and Democrats will flood early voting.

Trump barely touched his money this election. He could have made a difference but he’s made it all about him.

The fraud and conspiracy narrative is a delusional excuse at this point. It does nothing productive.

You obviously don’t live in Georgia

Warnock had a lock on the Atl vote. No one was going to beat that.

You can pretend all you wish. Georgia is fundamentally a democrat state. They gave us Jimmy Carter

It’s a great place to live The boters are as dumb as a box of rocks

Are you referring to Hillsborough and Palm Beach Counties?

If so, I’m very confident that if you look at Trump in 2016 and 2020 and compare them to DeSantis in 2022, you’ll see a chasm.

I can check, but for many years we heard that ‘for the Dems Florida runs through the I-4 Corridor’. That’s gone.

And for those saying, ‘well, all the new voters and registration shifts mean he should win easily’ . . . DeSantis’ handling of Covid certainly played into a chunk of that. People didn’t move to Florida because Trump won in 2016. We’ve created in this state a culture of more freedom with low taxes. The federal government had little to do with that.

Look at the disaster after two years and the high unhappiness levels and yet we’re not looking at 1994 or 2010 type results. Got to ask yourself why.

“Fraud” can’t explain a situation like Walker underperforming vs all other Republicans running statewide on the ballot who won easily.

Candidates matter and no one can tell me the results don’t show Trump isn’t hurting us. He also didn’t spend his pac money.

I live in Florida in Broward County, what’s the point? Georgia re-elected a Republican Governor

This is kind of like when I have to tell my northern friends that if Georgia is trying to suppress the Black vote, how do they get 3 of the 4 candidates for Governor and Senate that are Black?
