No, even the polio vaccine had 80-90% breakthrough infections.

BTW, did you know “One in 200 infections leads to irreversible paralysis. Among those paralysed, 5–10% die when their breathing muscles become immobilized.” So, the survival rate was 0.005*0.05= 1-0.00025=0.99975 which is essentially the same as the survival rate of COVID.

Also, the approximately 70% of children infected with polio were asymptomatic.
