Your forecast of the future is quite as lovely as all those other forecasts of the future, such as how hot it will be in a century's time, or the coming next "dark winter" wave of ER patients.
Europe is about 700 million, with the EU member states being a large portion of that, while the US is half that population. If this is a "European war" as you see it, then Europe's "twice the population" should be carrying twice the burden of the US, but it is not.
Asserting that some but not all non-NATO nations are European is all well and good, but the Ukraine-Russia war is a non-NATO affair, and there are those who assert that Ukraine is Slavic-Asian rather than European in many senses, in the same sense that the land southern to it is Turkey, a Muslim nation, part of NATO and yet oddly not part of "Europe" in the same sense as many speak of Europe.
What is certain is that the families of the Bidens, Pelosis, Kerrys and Romneys all were pocketing large amounts of money in corrupt, non-NATO Ukraine, so in some sense one could argue Ukraine is quite American, in the Democrat and RINO sense of the word. You seem fine with the American involvement, after all, rather like the Bidens.
I cannot foretell the outcome of the non-NATO Ukraine-Russia war any more than I can foretell the temperature in 2100. But I can foretell that the post -- which I observed in the list of posts on FR -- adjacent to this post and its thread speaks about massive, massive American debt and unfunded liabilities. Seems quite a threat which is observable, immediate. A truly serious concern, but then what the heck? After all, we've got a credit card....
