The problem is that the “phenomenon” does communicate with people—that does not make the people “nuts”—unlucky maybe, but not nuts.

It communicates crazy garbage which the contactee believes—and then ruins their life.

The humans involved are not “nuts”—but they would look like that to an outside observer.

There's a lot to unpack right there.

If I'm reading this correctly, you could be saying that the PHENOMENON (whatever that is) can always be assumed to be real, and that the WITNESSES to said phenomenon can always be believed, even if they are lunatics.

I would say that only about 10% or so of the contactees are con artists and/or insane—90% of the cases are legit.
