The Government sent Martha Stewart to jail for basically nothing, they got Mike Flynn to plead guilty to crimes after bankrupting him for nothing, they just convicted Steve Bannon for nothing, they still have 1/6 people in prison after nearly 2 years without giving them bail and keep delaying their trials, point being, the government always has the money to go after people.
