The US federal government has to the tune of a MASSIVE $31 Trillion in debt and growing fast by Trillions every year.
Plus the federal government has huge commitments that they are not even able to fulfill due to lack of money.
The part you don’t understand but everyone does is it’s not about SpaceX or Musk it’s about the Government and their ability to harass Musk or anyone regardless of their wealth.
The fact they are 31 trillion in debt proves my point even more about how the Government always has more money than anyone else.
