Tell us a little about your book. I’m interested.
I have seen a garden thread, cooking thread, etc. But is there one for books? Several here have published books, notably Trvis McGee.
an excerpt from one of the more recently written things:
The gates of Hell have been breached
The resounding vibration of the gates of hell that were breached on the day that Jesus gave up His life had such a resounding, eternal impact that the very earth shook from the assault on the gates of hell, the dead woke to new life, and the veil that separated the holy of holies was ripped asunder from the top to bottom, proof positive of Christ victory over both death and hell.
We lie in the middle of battle lines that have been drawn for millennia by Satan and his allies, and the veritable might of heaven’s assault force led by the king Himself. The war is over, and the King has already won, but the battle still rages as we who are called the children of God who have made the decision to accept Christ as Lord, savior, and king, not just in our minds but etched indelibly written that we are His, carved onto our very soul.
We wage the war with unconventional weapons, charging into the fray to rescue the lost and dying of the world, wielding the sword of truth and the armor of salvation.
We defeat the enemy by rescuing the fallen with the love higher than the highest, the love that Christ showed us when He Himself stepped onto the very front of the line, drawing the line in the sand, giving His life for all, His blood atonement the perfect solution for the blood debt of sin!
Brothers and sisters, continue on in victory, the enemy knows they have lost, but they have not given up on trying to make sure they take as many victims with them as possible.
It is our duty, our privilege, and our right to bring as many as we are able to the foot of the cross. Not all will come with you, but some only need you to point the way with the very example of your life if need be.
Ours is a battle not won with swords and spears, ours is a battle won with love and compassion for people’s hearts, willing to put ourselves on the line for others. Come with me, let us die to self, so that we might truly live yet once again!
