Retirees that see the buying power of their money shrinking know “free stuff” comes at a heavy cost.
There is that argument to be made.
I am not a fan of the wasteful government spending but that was the choice made during COVID.
I took what they dumped on my doorstep and stashed it for later use the inflation was inevitable.
President Trump figures the money will be extracted from China as reparations down the road for causing COVID, he has said as much.
But that’s the rub, the massive trillions in debt owed to China and Japan and others OMG.
