Russia can’t supply their troops in the field now. How does the situation change to Russia’s advantage when the weather turns cold and the Ruskies must supply more food, fuel for heating, winter clothing, etc.? It doesn’t. The poorly trained Russian conscripts are more likely to surrender in the winter than fight. Since Russia is now on the defensive in Northern Luhansk province, the rivers freezing is likely to help the Ukies.

Bingo!

I keep reading about how Vlad the Invader supposedly can turn things around with a full mobilization. But, if the Russian MOD can't train and equip the current levies adequately, it is simply absurd to believe that they could adequately organize, train, and equip a million-man draft.
