J. Alex Halderman, Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Michigan, claims to have identified a critical privacy flaw in the election infrastructure sold by Dominion Voting Systems in the United States.
(snip)
The researchers explain:
This vulnerability is a privacy flaw and cannot directly modify results or change votes. Nevertheless, the secret ballot is an important security mechanism, and some voters—especially the most vulnerable in society—may face real or perceived threats of coercion unless the privacy of their votes is strongly protected.

The flaw probably allows the cheating to be revealed so that will have to be fixed
Sure, but someone with a laptop can indirectly have their way with the machines. It is long past time to dump the Dominion, ESS, etc, machines into the ocean.
OH NO MISINFORMATION.... FBI raid begins in 30 minutes.....
they need an up to the minute accurate count to manufacture the correct number of ballots
just enough in the right places to win
not by a lot but just enough
Close. They need to know who hasn't voted yet so they can use actual voter rolls to stuff the ballot box.
Hope he has tenure
Yet Dominions CEO testified before Congress and said there was no access to these machine?
I’d love to see those “Dominion” bass turds lose just one case in court. Just one. Unfortunately, they have all of the courts in their far left back pockets.
There are multiple ways to cheat during the election with these machines. The software is not available for inspection. Some are connected to the internet. And Dominion employees are in the server rooms by themselves inserting flash drives and doing god knows what during the election. Not to mention that they reject ballots so that there counts can be determined manually by people who are up to no good.
Surely PayPal will charge him $2500 for his affrontery, and Chase will close his bank accounts for being an undesirable customer.
Oh, he does not have accounts at either of those institutions. Then they will just need to open accounts for him. Sort of like how Wells Fargo works.
On Bannon’s War Room this morning, a couple of guests made disturbing remarks:
“Why isn’t the GOP raising Holy Hell about these issues?”
My take, and those of Gregg Phillips and Catherine Engelbreicht of True the Vote, and many, many prominent investigators, is certain GOP members are in on it.
it can indirectly change votes though, that way it is not detectible.
Once again, a little bit of truth from the left-THIS particular flaw can’t change or modify votes...He probably uncovered a few other flaws that can but is making this one the focus with some cherry-picked wording.
Exactly, when the count was halted in Georgia in 20 to apply a “software update”it was because it was found it was not rigged enough and Trump was still getting too many votes. Why else halt the count an hour into the tally? This was so freaking obvious but if you said it you got the kook label.
Mr. DOMINION got my Vote!
.
What’s in Your Wallet ?
My suspicion as well.
Think about certain GOP people involved in squelching the Tea Party movement, or actions like supporting Murkowski in Alaska.
Thats part of the kabuki to distract while maintaining the framework to keep the grift going.
Any agency publicly stating that their equipment is secure is begging to be compromised. I’ve worked in cybersecurity long enough to know that you always assume you’ve been breached and act like it. This includes implementing zero trust models and enforcing strict identity security.
Digital forensics professionals will be the first to tell you that you’re never as safe as you think you are. Cybersecurity is a constantly moving target.
This a theoretical vulnerability only
In order to exploit this information, you would not only need the ballot images, (which can be FOIL’d) but also the order that people voted, which is impossible to know.
If there are multiple machines in a polling place, which is normal, there would be no way to correctly assign a ballot to a voter ID. Voters do not always scan their ballots in the order they registered either. You can have 6 electoral districts at a polling place with a dozen voters scanning ballots in random order at any given time.
You would need to have access to the ballot ID number and you would need to record the voters movements from the time they registered to the time they scanned their ballot.
Lindsey Grahmnesty is probably at the top of the list.
