I really like Chris Plante. Like Hannity (who I no-longer listen to), he falls into repetition, but at least he is really funny. I’m also of the right generation to ‘get’ all his musical references...

Mine as well although I only listen once in a while on his podcast. No “news,” traffic and weather that way. He lives in DC and walks around the city with his “best girl”. He was once a reporter for CNN, covering the pentagon. He at least knows how they operate and may still have some contacts.
Dan Bongino was once a Secret Service agent and had contacts during the early Trump years. I read his books which are excellent. I don’t think that he has contacts any more and is just boring.
