This stuff reminded me of WWII documentary footage I had seen of Italy when the allies finally entered. The streets were filled with “collaborators” receiving all manner of abuse while soldiers and civilians looked on.
I got the distinct impression that you called someone a “collaborator” quickly, in these conditions, before the same was said of you.
Which begs the question, are they civilians first or collaborators first? Can’t have it both ways, right?
