Every restaurant has a sign that says "We reserve the right to refuse service." However, if that restaurant refused service to customers just because they were Black or Catholic, etc. then they would be violating the law.

It is true that political affiliation and/or views are not explicitly protected by civil rights law, but denying conservatives the same level of connectivity as liberals on a social media platform especially during elections reeks of illegality.

Absolutely ILLEGAL. No different than the phone company (which is also a ‘private’ company) shutting off the phones to the Reagan Campaign in 1980. Whether or not they wanted to do it, they knew it was illegal as hell.
