There is no honor in pulling a covert "energy Pearl Harbor" against your own "allies," and then trying to blame it on somebody else.
At least when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, they did it in airplanes with clear Japanese markings. They didn't do it underwater, and lie about who did it.
Where is the honor in a covert sneak attack that may cause millions of your "allies" to freeze to death, while their factories shut down and they face a great depression?

If you are proud of this U.S. conducted pipeline demolition operation, you would be proud of a back-shooting skunk who killed one of his "friends" to blame it on one of his "enemies."
