For the past 4 or 5 days, AFU has been conducting “Reconnaissance in Force” around Davydiv Brid. The Russians have been claiming they repulsed the “attacks”, but it certainly appeared to indicate an AFU push to expand previous gains in the area, and likely drew reinforcements from the rear, allowing AFU to break through and establish a large flanking force behind them.
Russia has a very large force here, so it’s an extremely high risk move. But high risk can bring high reward. Or significant loss.
