The ones being routed today along the Dnieper are scrubs. Mostly DPR conscripts with some Buryats and Dagestanis to boot.
The rats are trapped. Next up the Crimea’s water supply at Nova Kakhovka. The rats were upset last time Ukraine cut it off, returning the land’s sandy soil to brackish salt water, fit to grow nothing and undrinkable.
Water will have to be trucked in over the Kersh bridge or barged in, both becoming more and more vulnerable to attack.
The ones along the northern edge like Davydiv Brid are the airborne and special forces I mentioned - the motivated and spirited ones.
