Both pipelines originate in different places in Russia. But they both end in the same place in Germany. It is plausible (for now) that someone in Germany could have messed with the pressures on both pipelines and caused this event.
Like I said, I am not saying this is what happened but until an investigation happens then I don’t want to jump to conclusions.
“Messed with the pressure?”
These pipelines are over an inch of high-tensile steel surrounded by more inches of steel reinforced high-strength concrete.
And “messing with the pressure” could cause 4 recorded explosions, on 2 pipelines, KM apart?
Stop reaching. It’s hard to face what we did. But we did.
Hell, we marched soldiers right into nuclear craters in Nevada immediately after atom bomb tests, just to see what would happen to them.
We had them hosing and sweeping nuclear ship targets right after atom bomb tests. Just to see what would happen to them.
Iraq WMDs. Gulf of Tonkin. Etc.
It’s hard to grasp that we are the villains here with the pipeline sabotage, but it’s reality.
It is not plausible. Pipelines shut down on overpressure, and pressure is released through relief valves at a compressor station. Furthermore, Germany is on the receiving end of the pipeline, not the compressor (supply) end.
