Campbell is one deep dude.
1) In the acceptable year of the Lord (Luke 4:19).
2) Where God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and has committed unto us the word of reconciliation (2 Cor 5:19).
3) In the age of grace whereby those who call on the Lord will be saved (Rom. 10:13).
Also I believe we are now entering and are already in the time of Jude's prophecy, "earnestly contend for the faith that was once delivered to the saints" (Jude 3) being fulfilled right now by the worldwide Grace Revolution in the church.
Following that in the next few decades will be the Final Great Worldwide Ingathering of Souls fulfilling Jesus' prophetic parable of Luke 14:16-24. We are now at the very end of that parable.
Then the master said to the servant, ‘Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.'Luke 14:23.
Unlike the days of Noah, people WILL come to the Lord before that great and terrible day.
So our job now is to
1) learn and walk in the Gospel of the Grace of Christ as the righteousness of God in Christ as a gift by grace.
For he has made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.2 Cor 5:21.
2) let our light shine so others see Jesus in us.
Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be reconciled to God.2 Cor 5:20.
So basically the 180° opposite of Joseph Campbell from the PBS series...
