That doesn't seem so bad. There's no shortage of gas in the world, Germany can subsist off LNG from the US and mideast. The problem is building the infrastructure, but now that's coming online they should be fine. It would definitely screw Russia however - almost all their gas pipelines run to Germany.

LOL. Europeans sure don’t think that, or they wouldn’t be charging 5 to 10 times as much for power, threatening people who heat their homes to comfortable levels with jail time, and shutting down business after business, along with their currencies taking dive.
