Stop spreading fake news
I'm just saying what the conversation was.
I emailed their corporate office and they replied with pretty much what you copied and pasted above:
I am very sorry for the misunderstanding. Our policy is you can carry your gun loaded if you don't have any intentions of taking it out. If you are going to be taking it out for any reason we ask that you bring it in unloaded and check it in with us at customer service. Then you can take it back to try it with your pants or try it out with holsters etc. It is a liability and safety issue for us.
Again, I am very sorry that we didn't explain it to you correctly.
If you have any more questions or I can help you with anything, please give me a call.
Thank you,
That was the email I got in 2017 from them about this issue.
Too bad that the people who were telling me this in their store didn't know of it. They specifically said that no one can bring a loaded firearm in their store. It obviously contradicted the policy that was emailed to me.
I found better CCW pants at Duluth Trading Company. They had zero issues with what I wanted to do. In fact, nobody even noticed.

Did you take the email to store management?
Did you ever talk to store management?
If not, why not?
