I think that potentially historical balls are marked - I believe every ball pitched to Judge has a marking on it.

Yes, they’re both special balls well marked.

They have two marks, one visible and one only visible of special light.

Judge was hitless today. Xander Bogarts now has the Batting Average lead keeping Judge from the triple crown. There are 11 games left.

“I believe every ball pitched to Judge has a marking on it.”

They are starting after 59 and beyond for the rest of this year. There are two separate markings on the balls pitched to him, one visible and the other one not. The balls are not performance doctored, just identification marked. That 700 ball was marked and every one Pujols will have pitched at him for the rest of the year when he retires, will be marked also. The way to see the invisible mark they put on the ball for him requires technology they haven’t made public to know.

The 60th for Judge was checked and found to have both marks so it was authentic.
