In an obsequious interview with the pathetic old CBS flack Scott Pelley, when asked if he was mentally competent, Joe Biden said (mumble, mumble, mumble) "watch me." Well, we did watch.
When asked about the pandemic, Biden said the pandemic was over.
Biden repeatedly asserted that the pandemic was in the nation’s rear-view mirror while speaking to CBS’ “60 Minutes” at the Detroit Auto Show last week.Left wingers went nuts“The pandemic is over,” he said.
“We still have a problem with COVID. We’re still doing a lot of work on it. But the pandemic is over.”
Progressive commentators used social media to lash out at the president over his remarks, with MSNBC host Medhi Hasan accusing Biden of lying to the American public.
“One of the (many) reasons they’re not wearing masks is because people like Biden keep (falsely) telling them the pandemic is over,” Hasan tweeted.Pay attention to this response:Progressive Democratic Kentucky state Rep. Attica Scott expressed outrage that mainstream members of her party “keep playing these games with our lives.”
“You don’t get to just declare a global pandemic over, Mr. @POTUS,” Scott wrote.
Former Democratic Ohio state Sen. Nina Turner, a senior fellow at the progressive Institute on Race, Power and Political Economy, also rejected Biden’s assertion.
“The pandemic isn’t over,” Turner said.
“We are over the pandemic. The pandemic is not over with us. Big distinction.”
Dr. Megan Ranney, dean of the Brown University School of Public Health, even used one of Biden’s favorite phrases to rebut him.The White House (the real President) immediately rebutted that.“Is the pandemic DIFFERENT? Sure,” she wrote. “But over?! With 400 deaths a day?! I call malarkey.”
But according to CNN, an administration official told the outlet that "the President's comments do not mark a change in policy toward the administration's handling of the virus, and there are no plans to lift the Public Health Emergency."The left went berserk for a reason. Biden's order to wipe out student debt and add that trillion dollars of debt onto taxpayers was based entirely on a COVID emergency. With that gone, the order can be rescinded.
Pelley also asked- multiple times- Biden if the US military would respond if China attacked Taiwan and every time Biden said "yes."
“[W]ould US forces defend the island?” Pelley asked in the interview taped on Thursday.Once again, the real President said to walk that back.“Yes, if in fact there was an unprecedented attack,” the president said.
“So unlike Ukraine, to be clear, sir — US forces, US men and women, would defend Taiwan in the event of a Chinese invasion?” Pelley clarified.
“Yes,” Biden said.

This is why presidents say “uh” so much. They must carefully select their words to ensure they don’t unravel a previous lie. Unfortunately for Biden and the white house, his filters died with his mental capacity.
The 60 Minutes interview seemed designed for Biden to deliver some pithy quotes... which he did. The problem was the incoherent rambling in between.
So which one is getting the (so called) bump in the polls?

Even before he went senile, Biden never bothered much about that. He’s one of those liars that just keeps on spinning lies no matter how tangled the mess gets.
