The fact that this clown’s books are used at all tells you ALL YOU NEED to understand American ‘Education’. The fact that 80% of FReepers subject their kids to American ‘Education’ (my estimate), tell you how little they think about their own kids.
You are spot on with your observations. I think a lot of parents woke up during COVID 19 when their kids were home “learning” by Zoom and other on-line teaching methods.
Before that I think a good number of parents were very concerned about K-12 or even K-16 education quality but only in general. They almost always looked favorably on their own kids schools and teachers.
