Slovaks want Russia to win the war, a surprising survey.

The analysis by the Academy of Sciences shows correlation between anti-vaccine and pro-Russian views.

A narrow majority of Slovaks would rather welcome the victory of Russia than Ukraine. According to the Slovak website Denník N, this is shown by data from a survey conducted in July on a sample of thousands of people by researchers from the agencies MNFORCE, Seesame and the Slovak Academy of Sciences.

Respondents were asked who they would like to win the war in Ukraine on a ten-point scale, with 1 being "clear victory for Russia" and 10 being "clear victory for Ukraine".

At least partially, just over 50 percent of respondents sided with Russia's victory. A fifth of all respondents then chose the option that they wish Russia to win clearly.

A convincing victory of Ukraine was preferred by about a fifth of the participants in the survey, while about a third of the participants were in favor of any resolution of conflict. 18 percent of respondents answered that they did not know the answer to the question.

About 16 percent of respondents marked option 5 on the scale, which theoretically means that they are more inclined to see Russia win the war, but in part these may be people who have chosen a kind of middle ground. Even taking this fact into account, more people wanted a victory for Russia than a victory for Ukraine, writes Denník N, which had the opportunity to look into the researchers' data.

The Slovak website then analyzed the data, according to party preferences or according to the region in which the respondents live. There was also an analysis according to their age, education or vaccination status.

30-39 age group is the most pro-Russian. Perhaps an unexpected result of the survey may be the fact that the 30-39 age group is most inclined to Russia's victory. In the age categories of 18–29, 60–69 and 70 and over, the survey turned out to be almost the same – the respondents agreed that they would prefer Ukraine to win. In almost all age categories, however, the average of the answers hovers around the middle.

The division according to the political spectrum, on the other hand, did not come as such a surprise. "Supporters of OLANO, Progressive Slovakia and SaS want the victory of Ukraine the most. Somewhere in the middle are supporters of We are a family and Pellegrini's Hlasa, on the other hand, at the other end of the spectrum are supporters of the extreme right and Smer," wrote Denník N.

The survey also shows that the inclination towards the victory of Ukraine increases on average with the level of education of the respondent. "However, this may not only be a reflection of education as such, but the fact that people with lower education can more easily fall into social insecurity as a result of the energy crisis and inflation," Denník N warned against jumping to conclusions.

By analogy: residents of the capital city prefer Ukraine more often (concentration of more educated people, higher incomes), Slovakia's weaker regions - Nitranský and Prešovský - favor Russia.

Sure. What’s to stop an emboldened NATO/EU/WEF from sweeping across the rest of Europe and even Asia in its power-mad drive for conquest? Weapons of war manufacturers have no limit on their thirst for profits. Ultimate Czar will be Richard “The Dick” Cheney!

So... people who feel the West has become a tyranny are less supportive of their government’s war... not surprising. Also: people who reject official narratives... people who feel alienated... people who feel they have no right to speech at all...

So ultimately, Slovaks don’t want anything to do with the GloboHomo agenda. They would prefer Russian hegemony over enslavement by the woke, decadent, degenerate, hedonist homosexual West.

Putin will wait until after Novemeber 8 to make his move. If the Republican take congress, they will impeach Biden and the rest of his evil cabal (at least put an end to Biden’s insane policies, no more money spigot to Ukraine). If the Rats steal another election, then all bets are off. Putin and Biden will take the war to another level.

Only a amoral anti-American anti-Christian would disagree with this statement or find a way to denigrate the messenger in an effort to ignore the truth of the statement:

Excerpt:
“Food, energy and economic problems stemming from attempts to build the world order without relying upon moral values have added to the challenges spawned by the pandemic of the coronavirus infection. Over the past two decades, these attempts have resulted not only in the loss of the notion of justice in international relations, but have also led to fierce confrontation, military conflicts and the spread of terrorism and extremism in different parts of the world,” Patriarch Kirill said in his greetings to the participants in the 7th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in the Kazakh capital.

You seem to have a very odd definition of "conquest". Because given that NATO and EU membership is, and always has been, completely voluntary, they can be "stopped" by countries not asking to join. Or, by NATO or the EU turning down requests to join, which also happens.

You do realize that Putin-led Russia itself asked to join NATO, right?

Central and Eastern Europe are rife with obscure antagonisms that make it hard to tell with certainty why there is such a peculiar result.

Although the west of Slovakia is developed and relatively prosperous, its eastern half is struggling. And with no more population than a middle ranking US state, Sloyakia is not especially consequential in European politics. A large slice of the country may simply not see themselves as having much at stake in the Russian-Ukraine conflict and may have a sense of disappointment or hostility toward the EU and NATO.

In contrast, Poland has a rapidly growing economy, is strategically located, and packs a population the size of California into an area the size of New Mexico. With a deep sense of Russia as a dangerous adversary, Poland has embraced Ukrainian refugees and the cause of Ukraine with astonishing energy and generosity.

“What’s to stop an emboldened NATO/EU/WEF from sweeping across the rest of Europe and even Asia in its power-mad drive for conquest? “

That’s a confusing statement. NATO doesn’t sweep anywhere. A country has to voluntarily join. And that isn’t an easy process. NATO has been chronically underfunded from day one and that’s not symptomatic of aggression. Also, if it were not for Russia NATO would no longer exist. Historically, countries with democratically elected governments do not attack other countries. They negotiate or trade for what they want.

NATO is the glue keeping Europe free from Russian armies.
Sweeden and Finland have been famously neutral and only Russia’s invasion of Ukraine prompted them to attempt joining NATO. Russia invaded Georgia when Georgia attempted to join the EU. Russia has worked overtime to keep dictators in the countries of the old Soviet empire for a number of reasons, but mostly to exploit their resources on the cheap. If those countries had easy access to Europe, then those recourses would go there because Europe offers a better price. To be on the Russian side is to volunteer to stay poor.

The World Bank, the IMF, the OECD, and every other data source say otherwise, with Poland ranked as a high income, developed economy with a stable democratic political system, rule of law, and a high standard of living that make it a major draw for immigrants in spite of Poland’s difficult language. And, unlike most of the NATO club, Poland exceeds its defense spending obligations.

Poles are notoriously hard-working. In many social welfare states, reliable blue collar labor is hard to find, so Polish plumbers, electricians, and so on are much in demand and highly paid.
